YAY! Apart from the great revelations God has given me, this week, my best bro from choir gave me a new bag! Woohoo.. So cool!

This is like the first gift I've received in this year.. Really wanna thank God for such a great bro..
So many people commented on my bag but 1 man took it to the next level and bought me a bag!

Also wanna thank Vincent and Samuel for lending me their bags to tide over this period of time.. Really appreciate the small little gestures, thoughts and blessings from you guys..

Wooo! Today, is a great day! .. Went out with Aswin, Shawn and Judee.. Been really a long time since I met up with Shawn.. Glad to see that he is still so nonsense as ever.. Haha..

Anyway, today, received some unpleasant news in the office.. So, was kind of in a very bad mood.. But after that, Aswin called me and said we gonna go SING! YAY! Haha..
So, I made my way to Serangoon to meet them and we headed down to Serangoon Gardens..
Can't really recall what the name of the KTV.. Really get to sing my heart out and vent all the frustrations when singing.. Haha..

Oh ya.. The KTV was really expensive.. Haha.. We kept complaining after the whole thing.. But all in all, I really enjoyed myself alot.. Like what I usually say, it doesn't really matter where you are going because with the people you love, anywhere in the world would be the best place to be..

Haha.. Really glad after so long, finally can go KTV.. Alot of people I know don't really go or at least I think so.. Haha.. Like my poly mates, busy with their work.. Cell group, not alot of people like to sing in these type of places.. and so on.. Haha..

OH YA! I forgot to say.. We went to Chomp Chomp to eat and we talked till like almost 12 midnight.. almost miss our last bus.. haha..

Finally, 1 last footnote to Judee.. Remember to buy for Aswin a phone!

Was watching a show and they gave this illustration which I felt was really good..


Son: Mummy, can I have an ice-cream?
Mum: Sure..

The mother leaves and goes to the shop.. She doesn't know which one her son wants so she bought an ice-cream cone and an ice popsicle...

When she returned, she took both out of the plastic bag..

Mum: Son, which one do you want? Pick one and mummy will take the other one..

The son holds both and starts thinking which one to choose.. but he could not decide and in the end, both the ice-cream melted...

This story really shows me that, in life, we need to not only be decisive, but we need to make the correct choices in the shortes possible time.. if not, we might end up losing both choices...

\\*My SOT*//

I really wanna go SOT this year but it seems like the time is not right.. Family having financial problems and stuff.. It really dampens my whole mood hearing that I can't go SOT because of this reason..

Working like mad to earn money for SOT but later hearing that the money I earn is needed to help my family over this time..

Call me selfish but I really wanted to attend SOT.. It's not that I would use the money my parents earn but I'm using the money that I earn myself to attend something I want..
I really hated this.. Sometimes, I really wish I was borned in a wealthy family so all these things can be avoided..

Recently, been talking to my NYP CHC friends and of course, some of my best buds like Aswin, Vincent and Jeremy about this.. and really thank God for them and for their advice..
One thing is that, God does not only speak to you directly but He uses the people around you to talk to you as well..
For Nick Vuijic.. His situation has caused so many lives to change, so many people to come to Christ..
If you put it into my context, God placed this on me because with this situation, I am able to shine ever so brightly in my family and be a living testimony.. SOT is important but the salvation of my family is more important..
I was so blinded not to see that in the past but like what people always tell me..
God's ways are always higher than our ways.. Things might not be going along according to how it is planned but once you slowly experience it and go through it, it will always turn out alright..

Thank you God for such a great word and also thank my bros, Aswin, Vincent, Jeremy and Joseph for giving me great advice..
