Recently, more things have been happening.. Having to go for medical checkup at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.. Seeing a Cardiologist (Heart Specialist) because of some health problems and each appointment even with subsidy is like $100+ .. Seeing my parents trying ways to save more money, my heart sank because I could not do anything to help out... Furthermore, my friends got a job interview and they went ahead without me.. They did not even bother asking me if I wanted to go despite knowing I am looking for a job.. How disappointing is that.. With friends like this, why would I even need enemies.. Even normal friends will help a friend out, what more good friends.. Right now, I feel that my judgement is always wrong.. Everything happening around me is so wrong... I have no motivation to carry on walking in this broken down world... All the hatred, disappointment... No sense of love among people at all.. Even the new OGLs are starting to turn so cold.. Everyone is changing and it seems that it is for the worse...
After all that has happened for the past few weeks, kind of tired and weary.. Friends come and go in my life and usually, we seldom contact each other.. Probably because to them, I am just an ordinary friend..
In primary school , I have the 4 prefects, XinZhan as my friends who went through so much with me.. In secondary school, I have Chan Meng, Henry, Li Jan, June, Chin Hwee, Michelle, Shi Hao who spend time with me and really bonded with me.. All of them were my closest friends but once I went into poly, my friends slowly disappeared.. No longer asking me out, no longer contacting or talking.. The only time they call or message me is when they need my help..
Now, in poly, I know Vincent, Jeffrey and Cynthia.. One is my best friend, other one is like the small brother I never had.. As for Cynthia, well, she has been there for me alot of times and helped me alot.. Can't really describe her relationship with me.. Haha.. Too complicating.. All 3 of them are the world to me but I'm afraid because this is my final year and next would be NS.. I'm afraid that it would be like the past and they wouldn't contact me anymore..
Well, really wanna thank God because Vincent and I were actually in a quarrel.. To a point whereby our friendship was put on the line... Our friendship almost ended and I asked God, "God, You said you would give me a true friend.. You said you have already sent him to me.. But why is the friendship now ending? What is happening?"
At that moment, God just spoke to me "Clarence, why don't you ask him yourself?"
So I decided to call Vincent and praise the Lord, our friendship is saved and we understand each other so much better..
I guess what I'm trying to say is that, trials and tribulations are part and parcel of life.. But no matter what we go through, the promises of God will always stay true.. It is up to you to choose whether you wanna trust in God or not.. If I did not consult God for His help or if God did not tell me to ask Vincent, our friendship would have just ended like that..
I believe that everything happens for a reason.. After this incident, we can truely see who are those people who stood by us and believed in us when we were at our lowest point.. These are the people who really treat us as their friends
Well, today I shall talk about Dreams.. Everyone of us have different dreams in our life.. But ultimately, we all have a major dream we want to fulfill... To some, it might be meeting someone important or someone they admire.. To others, it might be doing something they have always wanted.. And for me, probably the most ultimate one is to see my friends getting saved and of course to see my singing becoming better and better and having the chance to really shine for God with my voice..
When we pray for something, God does not just give the thing to us but He gives us the ability to obtain it.. Being in church for around 1 and a half years, I've seen many different kinds of people.. and have seen many situations whereby God blesses someone but that person does not do anything about it.. God works wonders in our lives but most of the time, we are too busy to notice the things that He has done for us.. We take things for granted..
For me, my vocals are not really very fantastic.. But by the grace of God, I manage to get into choir and I believe that from there, my skills will be moulded.. People have come up to me to praise my singing and some even criticize it.. But ultimately, it is the praise from God that I want and not anyone else's...
God has indeed created many opportunities for me to shine but most of the time, I'm just too afraid to sing due to my stage fright.. So I really thank God for putting me into choir because I would be able to overcome my stage fright from time to time..
Indeed, with a great dream, God will put people around you to help you realise that dream.. People who know of your dream and crushes it by doing it and not telling you or including you are people who are not your friend.. True friends will be people who help you realise your dream when they have the opportunity.. So if you meet someone who is a so called friend and that person crushes your dream, don't worry for God will place a mightier person beside you to help you.. Amen

Nevermind, I don't really have the mood to post anyway.. I'm feeling so down that nothing seems important anymore.. I don't think I can ever trust my judgement again because I'm hurt too badly already..

To all gals, he is single and available.. Haha..Tiring day ahead of me... Today is yet the 2nd day of the OGL camp.. We played some new games and also the game "Poison River"... To me, I feel that it is one of the best bonding games ever. Soon, it started raining heavily and all of us got wet but we continued till there was a thunderstorm.. Due to the safety of everyone, the game was thus cancelled.. Awwww...
After that, the people started choosing their very own Orientation OIC, IC and the various group ICs.. Ok.. Let me introduce my small bro to all of you.. His name is Jeffrey and he is my OG but we are more like close brothers.. He is a really great guy but he was kind of disappointed for not getting chosen but I believe that there are greater things he can do.. So, don't be disappointed..
Anyway, after everything was done, we celebrated his belated birthday... He is probably the first and only junior's birthday I ever celebrated.. When you and another person are like brothers, you tend to take more initiative and care more for that person I guess.. Could tell that he was really very touched by the things we did..
Haha.. Some new funny names..Well, just like what God tells us.. Be faithful in the little things.. Just by remembering a person's birthday and celebrating for that person, it can bring so much joy to that person and you.. I really feel so good when I saw that smile on his face.. and I'm glad God has given me such a great small brother..
