Wooo! Today, is a great day! .. Went out with Aswin, Shawn and Judee.. Been really a long time since I met up with Shawn.. Glad to see that he is still so nonsense as ever.. Haha..
Anyway, today, received some unpleasant news in the office.. So, was kind of in a very bad mood.. But after that, Aswin called me and said we gonna go SING! YAY! Haha..
So, I made my way to Serangoon to meet them and we headed down to Serangoon Gardens..
Can't really recall what the name of the KTV.. Really get to sing my heart out and vent all the frustrations when singing.. Haha..
Oh ya.. The KTV was really expensive.. Haha.. We kept complaining after the whole thing.. But all in all, I really enjoyed myself alot.. Like what I usually say, it doesn't really matter where you are going because with the people you love, anywhere in the world would be the best place to be..
Haha.. Really glad after so long, finally can go KTV.. Alot of people I know don't really go or at least I think so.. Haha.. Like my poly mates, busy with their work.. Cell group, not alot of people like to sing in these type of places.. and so on.. Haha..
OH YA! I forgot to say.. We went to Chomp Chomp to eat and we talked till like almost 12 midnight.. almost miss our last bus.. haha..
Finally, 1 last footnote to Judee.. Remember to buy for Aswin a phone!
Was watching a show and they gave this illustration which I felt was really good.. When she returned, she took both out of the plastic bag..
Son: Mummy, can I have an ice-cream?
Mum: Sure..
The mother leaves and goes to the shop.. She doesn't know which one her son wants so she bought an ice-cream cone and an ice popsicle...
The son holds both and starts thinking which one to choose.. but he could not decide and in the end, both the ice-cream melted...
This story really shows me that, in life, we need to not only be decisive, but we need to make the correct choices in the shortes possible time.. if not, we might end up losing both choices...
I really wanna go SOT this year but it seems like the time is not right.. Family having financial problems and stuff.. It really dampens my whole mood hearing that I can't go SOT because of this reason..
Working like mad to earn money for SOT but later hearing that the money I earn is needed to help my family over this time..
Call me selfish but I really wanted to attend SOT.. It's not that I would use the money my parents earn but I'm using the money that I earn myself to attend something I want..
I really hated this.. Sometimes, I really wish I was borned in a wealthy family so all these things can be avoided..
Recently, been talking to my NYP CHC friends and of course, some of my best buds like Aswin, Vincent and Jeremy about this.. and really thank God for them and for their advice..
One thing is that, God does not only speak to you directly but He uses the people around you to talk to you as well..
For Nick Vuijic.. His situation has caused so many lives to change, so many people to come to Christ..
If you put it into my context, God placed this on me because with this situation, I am able to shine ever so brightly in my family and be a living testimony.. SOT is important but the salvation of my family is more important..
I was so blinded not to see that in the past but like what people always tell me..
God's ways are always higher than our ways.. Things might not be going along according to how it is planned but once you slowly experience it and go through it, it will always turn out alright..

God is good, all the time!
Recently, a few people kept commenting about the bag that I'm carrying.. Some say it's ugly, some say that my fashion sense dropped.. all the bad comments came out..
As I was thinking about what all of them said, it came upon me that all these people who gave those comments have no feelings at all..
Some things, to a person, it might be junk but to another, it might mean the world..
The value of the things we possess is not determined by the price tag but it is determined by the sentimental value and the person who gave that item to you..
Even a simple bookmark, can have of higher value compared to a Gucci bag or Jewellery..
This bag that people comment so much about.. Yes, I admit, it is spoilt already.. and it does not suit me.. but don't you guys think I know that? My fashion sense isn't that bad.. This bag, might seem so negative.. but my best friend Vincent, lent it to me when my other bag was spoilt.. Who else among you have offered to lend me a bag? This current bag is spoilt also and still none of you has offered me then what makes you think you have the rights to comment?
This bag that I'm carrying now is one of the best gifts anyone has given to me.. Because it came from the heart.. I've used this bag for a year now and till now, it is still ever so useful..
Don't be so materialistic and judgemental.. See things with another pair of eyes.. Some gifts are best when they come from the heart instead of the pocket..
Woah! Today is probably one of the days I have been waiting for... Because I am going to BV for thanksgiving... YAY!
It is probably one of my greatest wish to become a BV not only in subzone, zone but to be able to stand on stage in church to BV.. The only thing standing in my way is probably my stage fright.. But above all of it, I took a step of faith and just sang.. Although to me it wasn't that great, but the experience of the whole thing has made me stronger.. It is such an honor to stand beside Karen and Joseph and BV.. Not many people were given this chance and I really thank Joseph for giving me this opportunity.. I believe this is my first step to my dream of becoming a Worship Leader.. 
I thought the day would end with just singing.. but to my surprise, I was nominated for Most Caring Member and I actually won! Haha.. When they gave the description, I was in shock because no one knew what I did except Karen and Joycelyn.. I never expected Joseph to know about it...
Overall, the day has been really great.. enjoyed myself with the games and fellowshipping.. Can't wait for the next major event in the subzone / zone.. Hopefully, I won't be in NS by then.. Haha..
YAY! After such a long week, got to go out with Aswin today... Only thing I have been looking forward to in this week =)
We met up at 7pm, Cineleisure.. didn't know what show to catch because Bolt and Yes Man both no night show.. In the end, we settled for 7 Pounds.. Donal said it was nice, so we trusted him.. haha..
Anyway, we went to BBQ chicken.. guess it is a Korean chicken stall.. Had a coupon that Phoebe gave me.. so went there to eat.. It was really nice.. and it was cheap coz I had the 2 for 1 ticket! YAY! In the end, we paid like $20+ total for food and drinks.. considered quite cheap for a place like that.. haha..
Coming back to the 7 pounds show, it was really boring in the start.. all the intro and stuff.. and some parts are just plain complicating.. but when it boiled down to around the ending, it got so interesting and touching.. it is like, all the confusing parts start to tie down together and make sense! It is a show that really gives hope to people who feel that there isn't hope in the situation they are facing..
Although time flew so fast and we headed home after that, I really enjoyed the day spent with Aswin.. It is not about how long you spend time with someone but how it is the quality time spent.. Haha.. we shared some stuff and talked alot also.. Guess there isn't any secrets between us now and I really love that in a friendship..

Haha.. Today, went out with the NYP CHC pals.. Been like forever since I last met them.. Really miss them so much.. Took like super lots of photos..

To kick start 2009, we went to watch the movie "Bed time stories".. Was really cool.. Love the guinea pig - Bugsy! Haha.. So cute...
Overall, felt that the movie was quite ok..
Soon, we went to Sushi Tei to eat.. Haha.. Most of the time, we were talking nonsense.. Think I didn't eat much.. Laugh till full.. Haha.. And as usual, Rickson was such a clown.. Keep throwing those jokes.. and Trudy, well.. being her random self.. Carrisa was as blur as usual.. Haha.. all their unglamorous trademarks..
After that, we went to Da Bao(Takeaway) Tao Hui(Beancurd) Haha.. walked like super long to make our way to esplanade but on the way, we kept sidetracking till we had to just settle eating at city hall....
Overall, really enjoyed myself.. Rekindle back the love with the NYP CHC Peeps.. really missed them alot and I'm really happy to be able to spend the 1st day of the year with them..
Well, 2008 has really been a tough year for me.. but within these tough times, true friends are the ones who really stood by me..
No surprise, all of them are from church.. Haha..
Anyway, really wanna thank all of you especially these people, who have made an impact in my life in the year 2008..
Through happy and sad times, you guys stood by me all the way.. Though some of you have different ways of expressing, it is really the heart that shows how much you care.. Really love you guys and thank you for bringing forth a better Clarence..
I believe 2009 will be a greater year for us... Believing that our friendship will become greater as well.. And all of us will really rise up to become greater vessels and ambassadors of Christ..!
