Oh my goodness... I screamed during Emerge, ET zone camp, Cell Group and Service but I have never lost my voice..! Now, I never even do anything and I lost my voice for no reason! Haha.. Maybe I should scream more to retain my voice! Lol... Anyway, can't sing for a while.. Oh well, luckily it is FOP so I don't have to serve..

Looking forward to the event! Can't wait to have a great time with God.. How awesome is it to have all Christians in Singapore together in an event! So Cool!

Right now, my mind is in a whirl.. If it was my past personality, I think I would make a big fuss out of that small thing.. But right now, thank God I've changed.. Now, even though I'm still kind of angry, I know that our friendship is more important than this small thing..

Some stuff you might think its fun but it might not be fun to others.. Some stuff you might think its nothing but to another person, it might mean the whole world..
Everything, even to the smallest word, has a different impact on someone's life.. So once you see something is not right, try to salvage it before it turns worse... Because once it becomes worse, you might start regretting what you did..

I guess to me, i'm more of feeling left out when things like that happen..

PS: It has nothing to do with Vincent so don't ask.. We used to quarrel alot but not anymore :D

\\*Singing*//


I guess, everyone who knows me, also knows I love to sing.. Recently, friends have been asking me.. Clarence, why don't you join singing competitions?

In the past, people commented on my singing to be great.. Friends even said that when I sing English songs, it can be comparable to some of the American Idol contestants.. I was really happy with praises like these but I always felt empty inside..

After I became a Christian, most of the time I only sing Christian songs.. Now, I'm in the choir.. And I sing even more Christian songs.. My music life has been totally transformed..

But through all these, I have never once regretted what I did..

In the past, I sing without a purpose.. I only sing to prove myself worthy and sing because I love it.. But now, I have a greater purpose in singing.. I sing because I want my songs to touch the lives of the people I know.. I sing to proclaim the greatness of God and I sing because God is worthy to be praised! Through the songs, the lyrics, people can see how great God is...

My friends might fail to see this part of my life but its ok.. Because I don't sing for anyone else.. People can criticize my singing or even praise but only God's opinion really matters to me.. Given 1 wish, I would not wish for greater vocals but I'll wish to be able to sing to God every single day of my life..

I have alot of friends in my life.. But friends who would understand and really take a step of faith and believe what I'm doing and what I'm all for is only but a handful.. People come and go in my life.. People say they are my friends... Well, if you really are my friend? You would trust me and take this step of faith to know what I'm all for and what I'm all about.. Isn't that so?

Right now, I'm really glad to be in the choir.. and every week as I step into church, I feel so much happier because I know that the 5 bros are doing all we can to serve God in the greatest possible way we can.. Each of us serving God in a different way.. Lester (Security), Wenglok (Usher), ZhengYang (Chorus Board), Vincent (Drama), Clarence (Choir).. Seeing how my 4 bros have been rising up in church, I feel so proud of them and hope that one day, we would be able to bring the church, our cell group and our school to the next level.. I believe God can use us in a mighty way..

Well, I was in the bus going home after Bible study.. Suddenly while I was listening to some Christian songs using my mp3 player, God spoke to me..
I quickly took out a notebook and pen and wrote it down..

\\*Water Baptism*//

WOOOO! On 20 July 2008, a few of my bros got water baptised! Yay! Well, like normal sundays, went to church in the morning.. The word by Pastor Tan was great! We sang "All things new" for so many times.. Haha..


After that, headed down to Jurong West St 91 for the water baptism ceremony! The bros, ZhengYang, WengLok and Me, went to support our fellow ET zone members and of course Vincent!


Really very proud of him because he has undergone so much just to get baptised.. Seeing how perservere on whenever his parents rejected made me feel so convicted.. And in the end, he won! His parents let him get water baptised! Praise the Lord!


Another 2 bros, Aswin and Shawn was getting baptised too.. Really very proud of each of them.. Seeing how much faith they have and now all 3 of them are reborned!


Anyway, took a few pics on that day.. Not all sent to me yet so here are a few of it.. :D

\\*The Prata House*//

Hey! Yesterday night around 9:30pm, got a call from Lester that the N233 guys gonna go Supper! Haha.. We met up and they gave me a lift there...

Vincent, Wenglok, Lester and I were there...

While we were on our way, we decided to get ZhengYang some prata because he could not go.. So we made plans like to throw the prata into his house then call him on his phone to open his door.. Haha.. alot of lame ways of delivering..

When we reached, we sort of waited awhile for our food and to our surprise, ZhengYang appeared! OMG! Haha... He came out to join us for prata.. There goes our delivery plans.. Haha...

When our food arrived, the curry spilt on Wenglok's jeans which was like super ex! He kept saying want discount but we preached what we learn and that is that we are royalty.. lol...
Kept talking about the things of the past, the fun we had when we were in N233.. Really miss those days..

After chatting for quite a long while, we decided to head home early to catch the bus.. Cab was getting too ex for us.. :(

Anyway, really happy that the bond between us is growing stronger each and every day.. I used to have no true friends and now I have so many... Indeed, God is a great God and He is indeed faithful :D

\\*Exciting Week*//

Wow.. This week has been really exciting.. Last sunday, after service, saw 2 brothers, Aswin and Shawn.. 3 of us were wearing different vest.. How cool is that.. So we decided to take a photo.. Haha..




Anyway, heard the news that both of them getting water baptised on the 20th July 2008.. Together with another best bro of mine, Vincent.. It's gonna be a great day for them and for me.. Really very happy to see 3 brothers of mine getting water baptised.. God is indeed doing a great miracle in our lives..

On monday, we had our NYP CHC prayer meeting.. we had so many trials, lost the place we initially had to pray in, some members did not turn up also.. Kind of felt dejected but as we took a step of faith, God was indeed faithful.. When we prayed, His presence was so strong and tangible.. Really superb... Really happy to start my week and to commit my week to God..

On tuesday, I went for my choir practice and it was so fun! The presence of God was once again so strong and tangible.. There were holy laughter and deliverance on that day.. God is indeed moving in a mighty way!

On wednesday, went for bible class at Riverwalk.. Everyone else was like in FT1 and I had to repeat VL because I missed quite a few lessons.. Was kind of lonely at first but God spoke to me and said,

"If today, any of your friends stayed back and went VL with you, then they are putting you first instead of Me.. Do you want that to happen? Why do you want your friends to slow down in their walk with Me?"

When I heard that, I was so convicted and God challenged me to really listen to what the preacher was saying and to really learn His word.. At the end of the day, I learned alot.. and I felt a sense of achievement.. Although I'm now slower behind, it is never about how I start the race but on how I end it.. And I believe that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.. ! Amen!

Soon, friday came.. Really proud of Jinglong.. Bringing him to church was kind of tough but when I saw how much he is doing for God, I know that those tough times were worth it.. He took a step and went to print and design the songsheet.. Really very happy to see him growing so much.. He recently got 2 friends integrated into our church as well.. God is indeed making use of him and growing his capacity.. Very proud of this member of mine.. Really hope to see him becoming a mightier and greater vessel of God!

Saturday came and we went to Lusi's place for cell group.. It was kind of great but guess everyone sort of missed Joseph.. Awww.. Anyway, really wanna thank Steph for standing in the gap to take the cell group and to really minister to our needs..
Apart from her, I believe the connect group leaders did a wonderful job as well.. They are really standing in the gap and doing all they can.. They step out of their comfort zone and rised up to the occasion.. They are so awesome! People of such great capacity.. Lester and Karen really showed me what Leadership really means..
Anyway, after everything, we went to meet Timo for supper.. Prata! Haha.. Lester, Jeremy and I shared a XL mutton murtubak and they had to place it on a tray! Haha.. Really super big.. Shall post it when I got the picture.. Haha.. We had such an enjoyable time fellowshipping..

Sunday and its time for service! Once again, I went on stage as the choir had to sing.. This time, we had 1 new praise and 1 new worship song.. As we sang the new songs, we really enjoyed ourselves.. There was this new praise song and we had to fly like birds.. so cool.. something different.. Oh ya and there was a guitar solo as well.. Our church has really gone up to a whole new level.. Pastor Kong is finally back to preach and the word today was great! God is indeed bringing our church from glory to glory, from strength to strength..

The whole week, I feel that my capacity has been stretched quite alot.. Though now I'm not feeling well, I am still happy to see my fellow Brothers and Sisters growing so much with the Lord! I believe that we can all make a difference! Amen!

Praise the Lord for such a great week.. I believe the weeks to come will be even greater!

27 June 2008
Celebrated my friend, Ivan's birthday today.. Went to his chalet.. All I did for the longest time was I kept cooking.. lol.. Expected from an F & N student :D.. Anyway, the highlight of the night was when Derek went over to the gang and told them that we were going to surprise Ivan with the cake and told everyone to cooperate.. But he did not know that when he was saying that, Ivan was just right beside him.. Haha..

Alot of funny things happened.. Guo Dong got drunk and kept saying some funny stuff.. Cynthia went around bashing people.. Lol.. All the people who can't hold their liquor..

In the end, both puked and it was up to the Ah Gong to clear up the mess... They better get me a big present next year for doing so many dirty work for them..

Anyway, we stripped Ivan till his boxers and woke up everyone with our loud laughter.. The funniest thing was, after all the commotion, Vincent was still sound asleep.. Lol..

Primary School Chalet! YAY!..
Been a long time since I met up with the gang.. Was really happy to see some old faces whom I have lost contact with like Sip Haw, Keri and JingSian..

We went to eat Pizza hut.. so cool.. For dinner.. Sadly, my time spent there was not very long... Aww... Anyway, we played "007" game and had a time of our life playing it.. Though the game was simple, we enjoyed it because everyone was so enthusiastic about it.. Haha.. Saboing each other was great!..

Then we headed to the arcade and played this game whereby you have to kill ghost with this hammer thing.. Our arms were really sore after that but the game was really fun..

Soon, we went back and I fell asleep.. Need to serve in church the next morning and thank God, they understand and let me sleep "soundly".. Haha..

Wow! Today is Joseph and Emily's Matrimony! YAY!
Went early in the afternoon to help out as a PA... Helped move the chairs and everything.. Really glad that Joseph chose me to help out.. He has been like my spiritual father since the day I joined church and I feel so honored to have him as a Cell group leader.. Serving him on this special day meant so much to me..

As we finished moving everything out, the event started and Emily walked in the alse.. Really poised and gracious, her beauty stunned everyone.. I am so happy for them... We watched a video on their childhood, BGR and proposal.. It was so touching and it made everyone go "awww".. Haha.. Soon, the ceremony began and Pastor Derek ministered to them.. As the process went on, I was so happy.. It was really a time whereby true love was in the air...

Anyway, after the whole thing was done, we took some photos and the highlight was taking photos as N233! Woooo! Missed the gang.. When Lucas called for N233, it was like as though a swarm of bees charged inside.. lol.. so many people!

Joseph, thank you for everything you have done for me.. Encouraging me and pulling me up whenever I fall..

Today
Well, today went to celebrate one of my bro's birthday.. Ivan Lee! Wooo... or should I say, Ivan Nai! lol..

Anyway, before that, went out with the cell group to suki sushi for buffet.. Cost me a bomb man! But it was cool because for the first time, the cell group really bonded during fellowship.. :D

Was gorging down food like nobody's business.. and the rest keep placing the food they can't finish onto my side of the table.. Now, I have a "prosperous" belly! Haha.. like Lester's =x

Ok.. enough about this topic on me gorging down food like some monster.. lol..

As I was saying, met up Ivan and Darwin at 4pm @ PS! Haha.. went to Pastamania to eat and for the first time, I ordered Peach Italian Soda.. did not even know they serve that there... lol..
After the meal, we headed down to Far East as Ivan wanted to show me where to get clothes for choir.. Haha.. but now, im too broke to even buy anything.. So, gonna save up first..

Nothing much of a celebration.. but gonna meet up with him again to chill :D
