\\*Brothers of Christ*//

Today, I did some thinking... So many things have been happening in my life... some good, some bad... but no matter what happens, for so many years, friends have been by my side, cheering me on and rooting for me... Supporting and encouraging me all these years... We quarrel, we fight but in the end, our friendship is so strong that it overcame all boundaries... because love does not just occur in BGR, it occurs in friendship as well... and there are occasions whereby the love in friends can be stronger than BGR...

I have always had friends but lasting ones? I don't think I have any till now... Friends in primary school don't really contact each other anymore... Secondary school is said to have the strongest bond but well, we also don't contact anymore... Poly, well everyone is busy gaming, working and no one really understands how I feel...In these 3 chapters of school life, I have a lot of friends... Great friends I might add... but not to the extend whereby they really encourage me or really understand me and love me for who I really am... In this cruel society, everyone is wearing a mask so that they can get accepted... Everyone wants to be in the "popular" group but is it really worth becoming someone you are not?
Up till now, there is only a group of people I can really trust which are from my school...

Polytechnic --> Aw Yew Joe, Derek, Benjamin, HanMing, Jingru, YongYi

The rest, yes we have fun outside but friendship is more than just having fun together...My life was really bitter because sometimes I really dunno who I can confide in... Until the day Vincent brought me to City Harvest Church... It was the day that really changed my life... As the days go by, I found people I could really share my burdens with... People who accepted me for who I am and people who constantly encourage me... People who support me with no strings attached... It is there where I had my first group of close brothers...

Vincent, Wenglok, ZhengYang, Lester...

The 4 of them are my pillars... They constantly help me up whenever im down... I know that I can trust in them and we know that whatever happens, we can confide each other... We have no secrets among each other and they are really the closest people I have... The love I have for them is something that nothing can destroy...
Soon, came in a new batch of friends...

HanYong, Ivan, Aswin, Shawn Kun, Darwin...

These 5 brothers, although the time spent with them is short, but the love I have for them is strong... Each one of them possess different charisma in them...and in short, they are really fun people... haha... They never fail to cheer me up and whenever im down, they would come and talk to me to see how I am... I don really know them that well but they went the extra mile to know how I was feeling... It is through them that I found agape love...

In Choir! I have like a good buddy - Brynner Know him from auditioning.. He is really cool and though we only meet during serving and practice, I feel really comfortable talking to him and he has really made serving with God much more fun.. Through him, I know alot more members in choir and I really thank God that I was in the same auditioning group as him.. PS: He has a great voice!

Then I have my leader, Joseph... He is the one that I can really confide because his wisdom has always led me to make a good decision in my life... For as long as I remember, his advice has never once let me down... Though there are times whereby I don really agree with him, I still heeded his advice because I know that he would never say anything to harm me on purpose... His encouragement and praises have always brought me to have a sense of achievement and I can never stop thanking him for guiding me through so many obstacles...

And lastly, my best friend Jesus... Even when I was still a free thinker, Jesus spoke to me and encouraged me... It is just that I did not listen and my heart was cold... I always thought it was my own imagination... Even though I was not a Christian in the past, God showered me with His love and affection... Guiding me through my daily life, protecting me... When I became a Christian, His love was so tangible... Flowing in His presence, my life changed so much... I became a positive person... My attitude changed and my character changed as well...Willing to take up challenges and willing to change for the better... I soon saw a vision... a goal I could work towards... He brought upon a meaning in my life... I began to do things with a greater heart...doing things for a greater cause... His songs, His love, His guidance, His encouragement and His words...all impacted my life so greatly... Even when I left Him, He still showered me with the same amount of love... Never once giving up on me, never once letting go because He cares for me... No one in this world can ever compare to the love He has showered upon my life... Because God is faithful...

Till today, I know that God still loves me and it is because of Him that now I have brothers with me... Brothers who will stand by me through thick and thin... Without him, I would not be who I am today... Without him, life would never be the same again...

Really wanna thank God for the love He has showered upon my life... Thank You Jesus =)
